International Breweries Plc (a proud member of the AB InBev Group) established the International Breweries Foundation with the goal of delivering meaningful, developmental, and long-term projects. Kickstart is a Foundation’s effort that focuses on the growth and development of young entrepreneurs’ businesses. Training, access to money (grants), and mentoring are all part of the program’s support for youth-owned enterprises.

Kickstart is also accessible in other African countries, thanks to an initiative by the AB InBev Group’s Africa Zone. South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland, and Tanzania have all effectively implemented the program so far. The program began in Nigeria in 2016 and has since successfully completed three editions in the South West and South East regions. Kickstart has now become a nationwide intervention in Nigeria, open to youths across the country’s six geopolitical zones, as of 2019.

• Age: 18 years to 35 years.
• Communication: English language (read, write and speak).
• Location: Reside in and have their business operations in Nigeria.

  • Agriculture – (Maize, Rice and Sorghum value chain and others)
  • Circular Packaging (e.g., recycling)
  • Renewable Energy
  • Water Stewardship
  • Modular Retailing (Unique small-scale sales model for International Breweries Plc. Products)
  • Others
• Businesses must be within 0 to 3years.
